Owners’ comments
This one-storey house on Lake Carillon in Brownsburg-Chatham has a backyard from East to West of 256 feet (78 meters) on the lakeside facing South. Near all services and only one hour from Montreal, it offers a paradise of nature and peace.
Wherever you stand in the house, you have all through the four seasons a great view on nature from the large windows all around. The full-size balcony facing South has a ramp made of glass which allows views on the lake as you cook in the kitchen or receive friends for supper in the dining room. The dining room and living room both have a patio door facing the lake and a gas fireplace where it feels good to read or chat with friends.
The front yard and door to the house are accessible by the alley and stairway on its West side or, to come closer with a vehicle, by a legal right of way from its North-East side. The backyard and door to the lower level (60% of the basement is over ground) are accessible by the lower driveway. Intimacy on the property is accentuated by the partly forested grounds and the cedar hedge along the road on the West side.
