Owners’ comments
House with a lot of character, full of charm, warm and welcoming inside and out, thanks to an environment of trees, flowers, and berries in the summer season. The land is located on a corner, so the environment is very private. Only two neighbors are nearby but they are very little visible from the house. The entrance can hold 7 cars and there is a protected area under a porch near the big shed. The kitchen has been renovated and professionally furnished: large central island, gas stove, large cabinets and deep drawers for lots of storage. The bathrooms have also been renovated with quality materials. They include a clawfoot tub with shower phone and a huge ceramic shower upstairs. There are three bedrooms upstairs, including the master bedroom with a walk-in closet. And even a large open space allowing the installation of an office. A second small room on the ground floor can accommodate an office for a person who works at home. A fourth bedroom has been converted into the basement which was completely renovated in 2012. The slow combustion fireplace provides a beautiful warmth that complements the warm atmosphere of the house which has wooden floors and ceilings throughout the house. And behind, is a huge terrace, including a large built-in pool and a pergola. Note that the exterior has been redone and there is a beautiful fire area built with local stones. The basement has a private entrance that can accommodate tenants as needed. Finally, the house has all the benefits and tranquility we want in Val-David, but is located 7 minutes from Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts where are all the convenience stores, and 7 minutes from Val-David, a village that worth its charm to its bike paths, its Dufresne Park, its summer market and its many gastronomic tables!
