Owners’ comments
We are selling our two-storey luxury house located in a prestigious neighborhood inside a Gatineau golf course. The house is conveniently located a few minutes from Gatineau Park, only 15 minutes from the Ottawa Parliament, and 30 minutes from three ski resorts (Camp Fortune, Vorlage, and Edelweiss). The neighborhood is very quiet, yet it is serviced by main bus routes at a short distance from the house. At the end of the street, we find a medical center, dental clinics, pharmacy, physiotherapists, Provigo market, swimming pool, schools (French and English), banks, etc. It is close to the biking patha small-town feeling near two cities (the best of two worlds).
The House model is "The Craftsman," a quality construction built by Richcraft in 2008. It was used as an upgraded model house by them until October 2015 when we purchased it. We moved in June of 2016, so we are the first inhabitants of this house.
We finished the basement in 2017. The basement has a king-size bedroom, a full-sized bathroom, an exercise area, a server room, a utility room, a storage room, and a cinema room. In 2017 we also finished the backyard by extending the roof, installing a heated swimming pool, added a shed, and beautifully aligned stone landscaping. In 2018 we finished front yard landscaping, and we added an interlock driveway conjoining the main entrance stairs.
The ground floor has two garages, a laundry room, two living rooms (the main living room has a gas fireplace), a large kitchen with a pantry, and two dining areas.
The first floor has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. A master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.
The driveway is sealed this August with Rust-Oleum Epoxy Shield Driveway Sealer Plus. Three cars can be parked in a driveway; additionally, three more cars can be parked in the street (plenty of space when you invite guests over).
House is equipped with the latest smart technology and energy-efficient. We have installed a tankless water heater (rented) that runs with natural gas, Nest smart thermostat, Nest Protect - smart smoke and CO Alarm, Arlo wireless camera surveillance system, smart Chamberlain garage door openers, and Nest Hello (wi-fi video doorbell). All these systems can be monitored and controlled from a smartphone anywhere.
Included: Appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, dryer, stove), all wall pictures, backyard furniture, backyard dining table with six chairs, Napoleon BBQ, a brand-new power generator (runs on petrol and propane gas), lawnmower and trimmer (both run on batteries), other garden related equipment that is kept in the shed, treadmill, four recliners, TV stand, table foosball/air hockey (multi-game), king size bed frame and mattress, two IKEA sofa beds, two IKEA wardrobe cabinets, and basement carpets. Additional items can be discussed.
Occupancy: we would prefer February 2021, but this can be discussed as well.
