Owners’ comments
3-season cottage located on the edge of Grand Lac-du-Cerf in the Baie du Bonnet Rouge.
2002 construction. Solar energy for lighting and operation of small electrical appliances (coffee maker, toaster, power tools, etc.). Propane stove, refrigerator and water heater.
Very large private lot (more than 5 acres), subdivided into two lots, bordered by the lake and the mountains with running deers.
Double combustion stove for heating. Open space with mezzanine with a very large master bedroom. Walls and ceiling with cladding of cedar planks.
Compliant skeptic pit and water drawn from a surface well using a pump that runs on solar energy.
Large veranda with mosquito net to relax and enjoy the nature.
The cottage is located at the end of a marshy shallow bay, which does not allow swimming (muddy bottom). Pictures of the waterside are available on demand.
